LG double door refrigerator bought in Topsham Maine. Cooling has now gone out twice, first at 3 years 3 months.

6 months later cooling abruptly stopped. We are working through LG as Home Depot passes your need for repair to their corporate and they do nothing. First repair left us 5 weeks without a refrigerator and now we are 3 weeks without even the repair man coming so it may go 6 weeks .

Fortunately, Maine has a 4 year lemon law and if it's a lemon ( and the repairmen are told not to classify it as one) so they force you to buy a new one. I will claim lemon until *** Depot sues me .

My recommendation is pay more get an appliance person who is local and they themselves repair what they sell you.

Retail stores have nothing to do with warranties on products. It is either the manufacturer or the company who's service contract that you purchased that you need to be contacting.
