On May 12, 2021, I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator from store number 3662 Steel Creek, Charlotte, North Carolina. I purchased a refrigerator for $50 more than the original because I was told it could be delivered sooner.
The delivery date was May 29, 2021, the delivery company called and said they had to reschedule me until June 3 I had to be in New York for a meeting on June 1 I called the Home Depot and explained my situation The manager instructed me that if ID like I could get a floor model instead of the original whirlpool, and it could be delivered on Monday The 31st I agreed, and they sent over a Samsung refrigerator after it was delivered it did not work and was a floor model I contacted Samsung about the refrigerator, and they told me the refrigerator was out of warranty how could this be I just purchased it and the warranty was March 31, 2017, so the refrigerator was over four years old, needless to say I was not very happy with how I was treated I called back and spoke to a manager who told me the original order was not canceled so that they could take back the Samsung and deliver to me the Whirlpool on June 3 Thursday the date of this letter.
So far I have gone 22 days without a refrigerator had to cancel a meeting in New York change my travel plans which cost me money out of my pocket after spending $1400 for a refrigerator. I believe this is terrible customer service on your part and would like someone to address it and let me know what the outcome will be, I have been a great customer of Home Depot for many years, and I'm not feeling like I was treated very well I hope someone addresses this and contacts me Thank You
