Bought a Trane heating and air condition unit through Home Depot on October 6 2016.have 10 years warranty on parts and labour.Unit has broken down 2 before June 2017 (ac freezing up)October 12 2017(faulty pressure switch.Unit broke down again for the third time on Tuesday 25 2019. Cannot get anybody to look at until Friday 28 2019.That is called service .Also please buyer be aware that even though one has 10 years warranty just to have a look they will charge 150 dollars plus tax.Also Home Depot has no control over service call or timing.

In the peak of the cooling season it doesn't seem unreasonable that it would take a few days to fit you into a service schedule. What exactly does you 10 year warranty cover.

Many will cover parts and labor for the first year and parts only for the remainder of the warranty. All this being said, your problem has nothing to do with Home Depot.

Your complaint should be with Trane. The made the air conditioner and back the warranty.
