online ordering service is abysmal and now after waiting months and reordering 4 times to get an available set of washer and dryer it arrived with a contracted delivery service and could not be delivered because the stackable hardware the delivery personnel need was not included in the options to order and was not sent with order so they now have my money and I have nothing but aggravation

It is nearly impossible to reach anyone at the national/ general or store number

When I did reach someone at the store I was informed the store manager Mike Poss was not available for the week, his assistant manager Andrew Wilson was not in because he was at lunch at 11 AM and not expected back

I was told repeatedly that the person "trying to" help me worked in plumbing called "Hon" and told there was nothing that could be done


User's recommendation: Don't buy anything you can not carry out of the store from Home Depot or better yet don't buy anything from them at all.

Monetary Loss: $2.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Home Depot Cons: Misleading info, Horrible online account access, Delivery service and notification processes.

This is why it is a good idea to go into a store when you are making large purchases. An appliance sales person would have known to sell you the stacking hardware if you had told them you wanted to stack the dryer on the washer. As you placed the order on line you would be responsible for looking up the stacking hardware and adding it to the order.
