Today I went to Home Depot with my 100% disabled wife. It was raining and she told me to go in and get what we needed and she would stay in the Truck.

I couldn't get her out in the mass rain here in Florida. I went in, bout all the things I needed and came out to the loading zone. Half the Loading zone blocked with carts, a truck drove in and parked and blocked the remaining lane. He got out and grabbed a cart to go shopping.

I said to him that he could not park in a loading zone, however, he proceeded to tell me that he was a contractor adn could park where he wanted and proceeded to curse me in Spanish. I went in and asked for a manager and complained. While complaining, another contractor told me to shut up and that they would park where they wanted to. I told him to stay out of my conversation with the manager and I asked her why she didn't tell him to stop.

Then another manager came up and told me to leave the store. I said what is your problem, my wife is a disabled veteran in the car, I cannot pull in to load and you will not send someone out to help load in the lot. He turned and told them to call the police.

I left and filed a complaint with Corporate. My wife is furious.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $5000.

Preferred solution: Written apology for the third time, termination of the Store's Manager, apology to my wife..

Location: 871 North Hwy 27, Lady Lake, FL 32159, USA

No OP Home Depot doesn’t monitor this site. What you are getting is other consumers opinions of what you did.

If you don’t like it then don’t post on a public forum. Your entitlement is showing and you prove that by trying to hold the business responsible for what a customer does. Like it or not contractors spend more money then you do. So they get a pass in favor of the money they bring in.

One would think a board certified vascular blah-de-blah would understand the concept of capitalism. You didn’t do your job out of the kindness of your heart(pun intended). You did it all for a paycheck. How many people couldn’t afford YOUR services died from being poor?

Did you ever stop and think before you chose to act?? No whiteys like YOU don’t see other people of color as human beings. As evidenced by your Spanish comment. A person of color and nationality parked in front of YOU so YOU go in and whine about someone else’s parking.

Maybe put your white power card away and have a little patience. You could have backed out. But you didn’t. You WILLINGLY CHOSE to make a mountain out of a molecule all because your white entitlement was offended that a person of color interrupted your daily plans.

You probably spent more time whining then it would have taken to just BACK UP!! And just so you know, NO not a employee, not a contractor, just a CONSUMER who would have been laughing at you like the employees and other customers did. You TATTLED and got told to *** off. No law was broken.

Just YOU being interrupted. Do the world a favor Mr. board certified.

Have a few sleepless nights thinking about all those people you turned down because they couldn’t afford you and the death and destruction caused by YOUR GREED, then put all THAT against someone cutting you off. Perspective is cruel.

You want Home Depot employees and management to be kind, but your attitude is the exact opposite of kind.It goes both ways.

BOGUS POST!!!! You will notice that in this post his wife is a disabled vet sitting in the truck and then latter in the car, however in his next post, his wife is waiting with the materials while he pulls up with his truck and trailer. Sounds like someone posting false stories just to cause problems with a store manager he doesn't like.

I am not lying. We have been to Home Depot more than once you damn idiot.

Once in her van and once in a van. So stop your damn *** If you want to see pictures of my wife, her feet, her wheelchair and that she is a 100% disabled Army Veteran who fell 30 feet in Germany and broke her back, I will show you.

What does your wife have to do with the situation anyway? If she is disabled, she obviously isn't going to be unloading the materials when you get home either.

If the loading zone is so packed, just push the cart a little farther into the parking lot and load your material there. Can't think of a time I haven't done that. It's no easier to load my materials in a "loading zone" than it s to load them in the parking lot.

The little extra workout you get pushing the cart to the lot is good for you. If loading your purchases is such an ordeal for you perhaps you should have them delivered.

Monetary Loss: $5000.Really????Seriously???Quit being Dramatic. It is Very difficult to take Anyone seriously when they are Dramatic.Preferred solution: Written apology for the third time, termination of the Store's Manager, apology to my wife..Once again it is up to Home Depot upper management to terminate the store manager, Not you. What is Really going on here?

What is going on is very simple. This store is located next to the largest retirement community in the USA, THE VILLAGES.

They cater to 2 groups: people over the age of 65 and the contractors that are constantly playing the game. The manager is connected to an ex employee that at one time dated my ex-wife. I won custody of my child due to her being a borderline schizoid personality. This ex boyfriend of hers spread many things about me and this idiot no longer works at the store.

The manager has been an *** ever since. One day my wife who is an ARMY 100% disabled veteran in a wheelchair just 3 weeks ago was with me. I was loading some supplies on one of my trailers and the loading agent would not help and laughed at my wife in a wheelchair.

I am a board certified Vascular Surgeon in the area and if my staff treated patients like this, they would be terminated on SITE. No questions asked.

Exactly What does your being a board certified Vascular Surgeon have to do with your complaint about Home Depot?Medicine and a DYI home improvement store are 2 Very different things.Since you are This unhappy, send Home Depot Corporate Headquarters a letter detailing your complaint. That information is found on their website.
