Home Depot refuses to honor warranty on closed company
Customer Service representative Angela Morgan cannot even get my name correct, why should I think she would be able to correct a problem with my cabinets falling apart. She insists on calling my significant other by my last name - she is obviously on some sort of power trip as the store agreed to replace my broken cabinets and she felt they were not under the warranty.
I am looking into a Class Action lawsuit with Home Depot regarding Mills Pride Cabinet Lifetime Warranty.
If anyone else has a problem with the doors falling apart, please feel free to write so I can give you my attorney's information. Down with poor customer service - fire Angela Morgan for a job she isn't qualified to perform!
Monetary Loss: $2000.
Location: Cary, Illinois

Kind of interesting when someone's got their panties in a bunch about getting someone's name right, then calls the same person by 2 different names. *smacks head*
ctually you are incorrect. Mills Pride is a division of Kraft Maid Cabinets and Masco is the parent company.
They are still liable for the warranty and are willing to replace the damaged cabinets.
It is the Home Depot customer service rep Angela Davis-Morgan that cannot get the names and genders of the consumer correct. She is either illiterate or ignorant.
When I called, I was told I must have the original receipt to receive any help with my Home Depot Mill's Pride cabinet door that the white foil was peeling from. There is no way I could find the receipt, and even if I could...it would be so faded (Because cash register ink does that) it would not have mattered.
At the time, my orig. complaint...was that the white coating was peeling...NOW I have a more serious complaint. The edge banding used on these cabinets is yellowing much faster than the rest of the cabinets, It is a different type of plastic apparently, and it makes the cabinets look like ***. So much for HOME DEPOT'S LIFETIME WARRANTY!
The sole reason I bought these cabinets was because I would be able to get matching replacement parts if something failed.
Lifetime warranty up after 14 years. USELESS!
Why can't consumers understand that it is the manufacturer of the product that is responsible for the warranty on a product, not the store that sold it. You are waisting your time as Home Depot did not issue the warranty. If the manufacturer of Mills Pride cabinets has gone out of business you are out of luck trying to get them fixed or replaced under warranty.
