I ordered a stove from Home Depot on November 18th and scheduled for and install date of November 29th because that was the first available appointment. They dont give you a delivery window of time when you schedule, you have to wait until the evening before the installation to receive and automated phone call with your delivery window time.

So I received a phone call Friday evening stating my delivery window was between 6-10pm Saturday. First of all WHO schedules deliveries that late on a Saturday or any day for that matter. So Saturday comes and I was supposed to get a courtesy call 30 min before their arrival. I got another automated call about 10 min before the installers arrive.

So at 8:40pm on Saturday they are finally at my house. The installers were the rudest people I have ever dealt with and very disrespectful. I asked that they put shoe covers on because i have brand new carpet and i have 2 small children who are constantly rolling on the floor. No one walks on my carpet with shoes on unless they are covered.

He proceeds to tell me that he doesn't have any covers so i asked him to remove his shoes. He literally picked up his feet, looked at the bottom of his shoes and said they were clean that he wasnt removing them, we would have to reschedule and started yelling at the additional guys outside lets go we arent doing anything here. Since then i have had to call Home Depot several times and am less than impressed with their customer service. Supposedly my stove is supposed to be delivered today.

I have NO idea what time or if they are going to show up because I didnt receive the call with the delibery window last night. I was also supposed to be getting a call from Home Depot this morning right after 8am when the delivery company opened, it is now 9:04am and I have not received a phone call.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $445.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
