The Canadian Home Depot Behr Paint Rebate Program is a complete scam. I purchased the paint.

The advertising stated that I could apply online for the rebate. Given that I had an electronic receipt for the paint so I figured it would be a simple process to complete an online form. If you try to visit their website, the site never loads so you can never complete the form online. In order to take advantage of the program, you have to photocopy the receipt, manually fill out the form, and mail the form to them.

So basically Home Depot is making it extremely inconvenient to take advantage of the rebate program. I will never purchase another item with this kind of rebate offer.

Reason of review: Scam rebate program.

Monetary Loss: $7.

Home Depot Cons: Scam rebate program.

Location: Kanata, Ontario

It's not just the Canadian Home Depot it's the same in the U.S.

The same thing happened to me except other brands were mentioned, such as Ralph Louren. I filled out the paper work, made copies of the receipt, and cut the UPC codes as required.

Then I get a postcard stating I didn't purchase the paint within the date required, and I didn't purchase the correct paint.

This is bull. They own me $100
