Home Depot $1 charge with no reason
Home depot charged me two charges one for the goods and the other is $1 for no reason. I do not understand why.
This is a bad policy. I called Home depot at 1-80*-430-**** but it was just the operator. The operator kept on saying press 1,2,3 but when I pressed them it was no help. It didn't at least take me to a representative.
I tried pressing 0 a lot of times but it still did not take me to a representative.

You need to be more specific. What were the "goods" and what was listed for the $1.
As an example in Minnesota there is a separate charge added for paint to fund recycling centers for left over paint that is added to every paint purchase just like sales tax is added to your purchase. If you want people to take you seriously, tell the whole story.
If you are looking at a $1 charge on your credit card statement, it is likely a "pending" charge of one dollar many companies make in order to test that the card is good and will take a charge. This $1 charge always drops off when the actual charge amount posts.
You can call your credit card customer service for info on this, etc. Calling Home Depot is not the place to get info on this procedure. This practice confuses people, but it is normal procedure.
Take a breath and relax. But, do check it out with your card company or look at your statement when you get the paper one at the end of the billing period.
