My fiancee and I purchased a GE kitchen suite from the Rutland VT home depot on April 30th 2020. It was first scheduled to be delivered on 5/27 between 8 and 12.
Around 3pm when it still was not delivered we called the customer support line and were told that the appliances never made it to the shipping warehouse and would not be delivered that day. We received our confirmation the night before via email and no one ever contacted us to let us know that delivery was not going to be made. We lost a day of work to be home for the delivery.
We received an email about a week later stating that our appliances would now be delivered on 6/6 between 8 and 12. We checked the tracking status around 11:30 that morning and the status showed that our appliances were still not out for delivery.
We called the customer care number yet again and were told that one of our appliances was lost and they would not be making a delivery today. Again another day wasted waiting around for appliances that have not arrived.
We were told that delivery could be possible on Thursday 6/11, so that means we get to miss another day of work waiting around to see if our appliances will actually arrive.
We have now been waiting for about a month and a half for these new appliances to be delivered. Needless to say we are extremely disappointed in the service that we have received from home depot and will never make a big purchase from there again.
