I ordered my son a basketball hoop as a Christmas gift from the Home Depot website on December 22nd, 2016. The delivery was supposed to be delivered on the first week of January, 2017.

On January 3rd, the delivery date was revised to ship complete on January 16th. On January 17th, the delivery date was revised again to January 23rd. I called the Home Depot customer service at phone number:1 800-628-0525 on Sunday, January 22nd at 15:18. They adviced me to cancel the order because they did not have the item, and that the manufacturer does not have the item.

I had to deliver the bad new to my Son, after waiting for the basketball hoop for a whole month.

I would like to advise those who intend to shop online with Home Depot to reconsider. My assumption is they may have wanted to sell the item at a higher cost.
