Ripped off

As a senior living on soc security, I treated myself to a new Whirlpool fridge from Home Depot. To me, it was a major purchase. From day one there was a tiny trickle of water always coming from the right side . Salesman assured it would stop, so I got used to mopping it up daily. After 3 months i went to complain, the old salesman had left . The young replacement salesman was very rude. As a result that the Whirlpool fridge was defective and recalled and mold formed in the fridge workings shame on Home depot never again cant be trusted After 3 months i returned

User's recommendation: Home Depot does not care what they sell.

Poor workmanship. We have no waited 5 months to get an undamaged panel from this Big Box stores vendor- American Woodmark.

An end panel was damaged in transit with the first delivery in March, 2021. Two others were shipped and after each of them was delivered they had to remake the panel. Quite a wait between deliveries. Now its been about 8 months and the last panel was installed without a good inspection on our part. The finish is like a piece of barely sanded piece of plywood.

User's recommendation: Don’t buy cabinets from The Home Depot!

Product not delivered when promised.

Set specific delivery date for September 1. Driver showed up with product but refused to unload because of Bee allergy and took product back to store. Store refused to send anyone else out with the product on the first. Delivery was rescheduled for Sept.3rd between 1 and 4 pm (confirmed by store Service Dept. on Sept.2.). It is now 4:15 PM on the 3rd and no delivery. Store says trying to locate truck( to beAngrycont') cont'd.

Poor customer service.

Waited 15 min on a representative and then disconnected the call. Morning else to add but the fact they need a better phone system. Oh, Did I mention they this 3 times to me in a period of 49 minutes!!

Robbery

I had a toilet installed by one of Home Depot contractors. One of the persons installing the toilet asked to use the master bathroom in the master bedroom. After they had left I found that some jewelry sitting on my dresser top had been taken. I am 76 and have been on lock down since Covid. NO ONE ELSE has ever been in or used my master bathroom.

User's recommendation: Watch contractors closely. Home Depot told me to report to police.

Their website never works properly

Frequently i need to buy things at Home Depot and have a very short time to shop. Their competitor's page tells me exactly what isle and what bay to find the items. HD's web page won't even let me change to the local store i am going to and each one of the stores is laid out differently. I suppose i could ask the middle school dropouts that work there where to look if, that is, I learn to speak 15 different languages and if i can find one who is not on break or busy on facebook.

The retail store is not responsible for the warranty, the manufacturer is. Pull out your warranty and read it carefully.

It will say nothing about Home Depot having any responsibility for the warranty.

It will give clear instructions on how to obtain warranty service through Toro. If you are having problems obtaining service your complaint is with Toro, not Home Depot.

GREAT SERVICE

VISITED THE BILLINGS MONTANA STORE. ADFTER BEING TOLD BY 3 DIFFERNT PEOPLE THREE DIFFERENT THINGS I FINALLY RECEIVED SERVICE FROM TWO OF THE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES. ONE WAS A WOMAN AND THE OTHER WAS A YOUNG MAN.. BOTH HAD TO COVER FOR OTHER EMPLOYEES MISTAKES. BOTH OF THESE PEOPLE DESERVE A RAISE

We don’t expect this. However they sell windows.

I bought from them. I have no contact to manufacturer except through them.

It’s been 2 months of them trying to find it and now they are going to re order. This should have happened over a month ago

Carpet installation went horrible/ bid a job: installers didnt speak ANY English- left our house destroyed after removing our carpet without laying any new and I keep getting jerked around customer service with the we understand and would feel same wayreally? A week later nobody has called me back?!?! And my house is basically unlivable. NEVER USE HOME DEPOT!!!!!! These photos are how sub left our home a week ago.

HOME DEPOT'S RELATIONSHIP WITH ROMANOFF RENOVATIONS

Home Depot has only one installer they use. Romanoff Renovations! Romanoff is absolutely the worse, most incompetent, lying, worthless company imaginable! They did a horrible job installing wood laminate floors in two bedrooms. The measurements were wrong, the work was done wrong, they stole two full packages of underflooring padding that had cost me $66.00! I tried to contact them three times but a recording said: "no one can answer this call and you cannot leave a message, try again another time!" I go to Home Depot demanding my money back. Home Depot refuses! I had to hire another company to repair the damage, that was done. Now it cost me even more!

No development. August 6th filed complaint with my state consumer affairs on August 17th got a reply stating HD was forwarding all info to HDE branch office also the window installers now have covid and once recovered will attempt to correct existing sashes(***already tried did not work***)and or install replacement sashes.

Last communication was by phone with Michael HDE branch office explaining installers have covid. We are thinking about contacting a attorney.

No one will help/answer my questions about delivery area.

Get this! NO ONE delivers to my town, Jackson, Ohio. NO ONE! They say its outside of their delivery grid and arent allowed to go into another stores area. BUT NO OTHER STORE WILL DELIVER! However, heres the CRAZY thingthey WILL deliver to Chillicothe, Ohio, which is 29 miles FURTHER and they have to drive through Jackson to get there! Shrug I need to speak to someone in authority. I'm trying to purchase a washer/dryer set ($2,110.00) and can't get the help I need. I've already spoken to 5, FIVE people! Im so frustrated! Im so disappointed in Home Depot! Im so done!
