this is my review of the tarp i bought and my experience with customer service. just to find out it would not be published. im sure it was because it was such a bad review.

PIECE OF JUNK. NO BETTER THAN A BLUE TARP

i bought this last year online. after reading the product description. i was led to beieve it would last a few years. i had to specially order it online. i actually didnt put it up for about 4 months after i bought it. now one year later its falling apart. i noticed it has *** in it from nothing more than the wind. when i tried to pull it taught and install new zip ties to my canopy frame. it started ripping easily and falling apart. the product description is very misleading. in my eyes. i see it as straight out lying. to sell a junk product at a higher price. it doesnt last any longer than a cheap blue tarp. that was my last tarp and most likely the last product i will buy from home depot. i will recommend to people not to buy from home depot and go elsewhere. there are plenty of other places with better products.

honestly now i hope they lose alot of business. selling such pore quality products. then not caring and pawning it off onto another company. instead of saying sorry, heres a new tarp and we will contact the manufacturer and fix the issue of poor quality.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $44.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Home Depot Cons: Poor service, Way they treat customers.

Location: Lake Elsinore, California

I actually had a simple online question rejected for a soldering iron they sell: "Soldering tips wear out fast. Do you sell replacement tips for this soldering iron?" That was it!

As innocuous as that sounds, that still somehow managed to violate their guidelines.

And, of course, what this means is you cannot trust any of their product reviews. If comments like the one above trigger a guideline violation, you can be sure you are not getting the honest scoop on any of the products they sell.

I just had a similar experience. I posted a negative review of a washing machine which followed Home Depot's guidelines, and it was rejected. Going forward, it's going to be hard for me to trust reviews posted on Home Depot's website.
