I was trying to reduce my debt with home Depot. So I put in a dispute with Experian saying that I paid $4200 on my account. Experian came back and said that I still owe that $4200 which is a lie. So why did you say I owe that amount when in realty I don't?

You never owed Home Depot anything. Your credit account is with an independent credit company. Take a look at your credit card or next statement to find out who actually owns your account.

Deceptive and misleading sales practices

Home Depot in Terrell Texas is not to be trusted, they use deceptive and misleading sales practices, if you go to the scrap pile and try to buy certain items, once you get to the register, they tell you that you cant buy them due to it being sold by the foot, Ive never heard of this and they have no signs or anything posted in the store saying this, this was their mistake and the guy who argued with me about it, said it was their mistake, but would not make it right and sell me the items, when all they had to do is figure up how many feet, and go from there, instead the cashier had this guy come over to argue with me, and refuse to honor a sale on items that were put in a certain place, and were scraps, but came up with some crazy reason not to, again no signs posted, no reason given, just a rude, aggressive, and unreasonable male employee, trying to intimidate an older woman, this store is always like this, unhelpful, disorganized store and employees.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. My update; I heard back from Home Depot.

They completely made up from my bad experience. I heard from Katelin Seaholm and she was empathetic, professional, understanding and looking to make it right. She refunded everything 100% but only on a gift card since it was over a year but that works and most importantly she scheduled a service to connect with us to return the rest of the furniture.

I’m impressed with the way she handled everything. And I’m thankful.

I ordered a bedroom set from Home Depot last year, January. The delivery was a nightmare they left no nuts and bolts to assemble.

We also paid for the professional assembly. He's the one that told us Home Depot did not provide the nuts and bolts. Customer Service said they couldn't help because they're in India. Ended up refunding the headboard part of the order.

We had to pay someone to figure out what the nuts and bolts were and put it together. Now a year later after seeing sawdust constantly under the nightstand. I have never even seen a termite or know what to look for or I would have known that is what the constant sawdust and small holes were from. Never figured this, but it turns out their is termites in the nightstand.

Not sure about the rest of the furniture. Called Home Depot. I am done with this crap. I speak to Katrina Turner.

She apparently doesn't believe me. Feels I deserve nothing. Not even help returning all the furniture. And to top it off hangs up on me.

So I'm stuck with a bedroom set with termites in the nightstand. Taking it to the dump today. No resolution and she is sitting on her butt thinking she did the right thing. We are always at Home Depot.

We purchase their all the time. This is disheartening to think that she could have made a customer happy by just having some empathy but her nastiness couldn't. Maybe she's a miserable person by nature. And all she focused on was that it was purchased in January last year and if it had termites it would be everywhere.

So basically saying I'm lying about my termite infested furniture that I saved for that could have done damage in my new home. No concern on her end. This is disgusting that a company this large doesn't care. And that they have such a horrible nasty woman working for them.

I wrote the CEO but of course he probably won't see it.

But I will take this further. Media here I come.

Preferred solution: I would like them to pick up all the furniture as I do not know if the rest is termite infested. Taking the nightstand with the termites to the dump since I've had no resolution.

User's recommendation: Don't buy furniture from Home Depot online. It was from Home Decorators collection.

Update: The Home Depot reached out and they were very concerned and extremely empathetic for my situation. They provided me a full refund with credit to the store since it was over a year and offered a service to pick up the furniture as long as I have it placed outside.

I'll take it. It's unfortunate that they had such a horrible person that I dealt with the first time but when they called me I dealt with an amazing woman named Katelin and she was so helpful and I'm happy with the resolution.

Get copies of notes on a rental of a truck

Nothing had changed since the first time I reported. No calls to try and fix this.

I went In and spoke to now I no to be big bad *** Vivien store supervisor manager as she likes to call herself. An her goons Whom is responsible for all of this. The illegal altering of the contract overcharging for the service (igstortion) ect. In which she go home still every night with joy and happiness to celebrate her victory of destroying a family and a local business that had a one of a kind amazing program that served a great purpose of helping Domesticvilonce victims stay safe.

She and her goons with the help of store manager and district manager proudly shopper beware check all paperwork from yhe t e. Smallshut down the wonderful program. Man home depot amazing.

So much for caring about the community and local small businesses home depot. So I say shoppers beware and payation to all documents from them.

Home Depot - Terrible customer service experience

I went to the East Asheville Home Depot to purchase Mulch this past Friday. I was thrilled to discover a pallet of Scotts Topsoil marked on the outside of the pallet at the cost of 5 for $10 ($2/bag).

I confirmed the price with an HD worker in the garden center, and he confirmed that the price was indeed 5 for $10.

Enthusiastically, I loaded my cart with 10 bags and proceeded inside to pay (the garden checkout line was too long). A very polite elderly gentleman rang me up and, to my surprise, the price was $38 total. I explained the "5 for $10 sign", showed him a picture of the sign as well. He agreed and tried to reduce the price, but was unable.

He called the garden center manager, who arrived after 10 minutes. The garden manager proceeded to scold me for misinterpreting the sign and that the pallet "was part of a larger Memorial Day display" ... having gotten nowhere with this person, I asked to see the store manager, and waited over 10 minutes more. Same rude attitude here.

Somehow, the store manager agreed that I was out of my mind because I "didn't understand their Memorial Day artwork display" ... I nor my family will be visiting HD again.

Was there more to the sign continuing on to the right that you aren't showing saying the price was for mulch? Sign may have been painted across multiple pallets. Smart thing would have been to paint it all on pallets of mulch.

Customer Service Complaint Store #863

The cashiers and stockers at this store are really nice. However, the last three interactions with the customer service counter have been awful.

Today I brought some tile back to see about a refund. One lady says it has to be a full box and walks away. The other, Mika or Nika, slouches on the counter and puts her cheek in her hand and just sits there shaking her head no as we try to figure out how many are supposed to be in the box since its not labeled on box. She just continued to do that even after I asked how many are supposed to be in there.

So, I finally just left with the tile since there was absolutely no service to the customer. I put the tile in my truck, went back in and asked for the store manager. After about 15 minutes some random assistant manager shows up. I tell her very politely what happened and her only words were Im sorry.

She didnt say shed speak to the employee or anything else. I spend a lot of money in that store but Ill never set foot in it again.

The need to rename that counter Customer Disservice. Its just sad that they cant get it right.

I want to cancel Home Depot mailings to my home. If I want their credit card I will contact them, I do not need two letters a month promoting their credit cards. I tried to contact the company, by phone, and spent 20 min. trying to get a representative. I finally was able to get someone and got transferred 4 times before the 4th person answered "hello" when I tried to speak to her there was no further response. They refuse to respond to customers that want to simply request no further mailings. I have shopped at Home Depot for 30 years, but if I can not cancel their mailings, I will not return!

Unsatisfied chain link fence installation

I have spoken with both Home Depot and AIS Installations and am awaiting final credits to make me whole.

I contracted with the Ludington, Mi. Home Depot through their fence installer AIS Installations on 5-31-23 to have a 4' chain link fence installed to match the existing chain link fence on my property.

The sales representative, Greg Anderson visited my property, inspected the existing fence and survey markers and quoted a price of $4,410.00 for approximately 200' of new fence. When the foreman arrived he noted that there was no bottom rail listed on his work order. I called Greg and he said that was an OPTION and that it would cost an additional $1,504.00 to bring the new fence in compliance with the existing fence. When I objected to this ridiculous charge for something that should have been included, he said, take it or leave it, so I cancelled the order.

They have refused to issue a credit to my master card without a $550.00 cancellation fee, which I also objected to, because we never had a meeting of the minds, and I was not getting what I bargained for. Greg then dropped the cancellation fee to $275.00 which I also objected to. Since then, the Ludington store manager has agreed to issue a gift certificate in the amount of $275.00 if I will agree to let these criminals charge my master card for an invalid and unjust $275.00 cancellation fee. This is white collar crime at its most "in your face and up your *** format.

Steer clear of Home Depot and AIS Installations! Still waiting for final resolution as of 9-10-23.

Did you you read the proposal before you agreed to it? If it didn't include the bottom rail you shouldn't have assumed there would be one. It isn't something that is used very often.

On July 2nd I went on line and ordered a Briggs and Stratton push lawnmower Which was to be delivered the same day, I check the the tracking which said package received, yet it also said package returned.

I called to find out which the man was very nice come to find out it was my fault due to I put a wrong number in my address. Okay my mistake. I was told that since it was a same day delivery the store more than likely had them in stock so instead of reordering I ran up to the the store which they did not have any in the store.

While in the parking lot of HomeDepot I placed a new order for the lawnmower ( they canceled the first order, which I did not receive a phone call)

After ordering the second time it said my order. Would be delivered between 6:00am-8:00pm at this time its only 1:00pm Tuesday July 4th, later I check to see where the driver was said driver was on Markham I stay off of Baseline. Now its 8:00 pm the store is closed what rhe ***

I called the number on my order form to see what was up I was told it was being processed.

What? Said that I was being reviewed, what do you mean reviewed for what? They didnt know it was all they could

I seen a different number so I called it and spoke with a wonderful lady who help me to understand why it was being reviewed okay I understand. July 4th I called to check on what was going on. My order was in delivery here I went again on the phone at 1:00am asking about the lawnmower now im told that its on the truck ( still at Markham)

I assured the lawnmower would be delivered Today. Here I go again on the damn phone asking about the damn lawnmower, now I am being told to HomeDepot not even a mile from my home didnt have any so the store in west Little Rock is who I need to call!! I said excuse me!! I did order from my store and youre telling me I need to call here and there to find out? I am buying the product now youre telling me I have to search to find out what damn store is sending?? Then this lady is asking me if I know what door dash is? HomeDepot has something like that and the product wouldnt fit in the car. Excuse me? Said my lawnmower would be delivered tomorrow the 6th.

I asked what time dont know the time between 6:00am and 8:00pm.

Canceling the order get my money back.

Should I get the order I believe they waver the delivery fee. This is ridiculous

Also you can't order if you don't have a US address. Maybe Home Depot don't want more business? The products are great and reasonable prices but it's impossible to contact the store from Barbados

What's wrong with you? Most people would be aware of their surroundings and walk around "a large puddle of paint". Don't see why they should pay for your shoes because you weren't watching where you were walking.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident that occurred at your store at 112-20 Rockaway Blvd Queens, NY 641-**** on 7/28/2023 at approximately 8 am. I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by your Pro Member Associate, Chandra, and the subsequent handling of my complaint.

On the aforementioned date and time, I approached the register to make a purchase and informed Nadira, the manager on duty, about the incident.

I explained that I felt racially profiled by Chandra, who was serving as a Pro Member Associate at the register. Chandra displayed behavior that made me feel marginalized and treated differently based on my race.

Specifically, when I approached Chandra and requested assistance with my purchase, she glanced behind me and noticed another customer waiting in line. Chandra immediately assumed that this customer was next in line and redirected me to another associate on a regular line, despite my status as a Pro Member. It was evident that Chandra had incorrectly assumed that the other customer had not been taken care of, even though they had already completed their transaction.

I expressed my confusion and disappointment to Chandra regarding her decision, but she merely apologized and directed me to another associate on a regular line.

I felt that my status as a Pro Member was disregarded, and I was treated unfairly in comparison to other customers.

I expressed my concern to manager on site name Nadira, Nadira assured me that she would investigate the matter and provide a resolution. Subsequently, she informed me that she had escalated the complaint to Supervisor Elisa, who then brought it to the attention of Associate Store Manager Vanessia. However, despite these assurances, I did not receive any further communication or resolution regarding the incident.

I must express my dissatisfaction with the outcome of this complaint process. I genuinely believed that my concerns would be addressed promptly and that appropriate measures would be taken to rectify the situation.

However, the lack of communication and resolution has left me feeling unheard and disappointed.

As a loyal customer of Home Depot, I have always appreciated the quality products and services provided by your company. However, this incident has significantly tarnished my perception of your brand and the treatment I can expect as a valued customer.

I kindly request that you thoroughly investigate this matter, provide a formal apology for the treatment I experienced, and take appropriate steps to ensure that incidents like these are not repeated in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate regular updates on the progress of the investigation and the actions taken to address this issue.

I trust that Home Depot, as a company committed to excellent customer service, will take my concerns seriously and handle this matter promptly and professionally.

I had ordered Ready Seal #100001**** In Grove City Ohio. Order# H6954-24****, Receipt # 6954 00*** *9132.

I was told it would be ordered. Received call yesterday that the store in Hilliard Ohio had them in stock but.will not transfer..I went back to Grove City store, was instructed by Nancy at the pro desk, pick up refund from Grove City and then go to Hilliard to pick up. Went to Hilliard to pick up what was supposed to be on will call,it wasn't, found the product needed in the paint department. Went back to Hilliard service desk.

Was told they won't match price on clearance items. Then i was told different stores have different policies. Now, if I'm not mistaken, all stores are owned by corporate, not franchised. Two stores, approximately 15 miles apart, send customers back and forth without the customer concerns.

I feel that the customer is a secondary thought.

This price jumping between stores that close to each other is bery unprofessional. Please contact me about this.
