Preferred solution: A gift card for horrendous service and stress of elder customer. Spent thousands there for move and renovation and she’s left angry and unsatisfied w no follow up or help. Out of pocket cost to hire a guy to return shower doors $100 too.

This was my first time using curbside pickup at Home Depot. I am familiar with how this process is supposed to work though.
First, the parking spaces for curbside pickup were blocked with cones when I arrived after 10AM. So I had to get out of the car and physically remove the cone from the parking space in order to park in Curbside Pickup. Nothing there that stated the parking spaces were closed. I used the confirmation email to log in and let the store know I was at the store.
No one came out for the next 15 20 minutes, so I called the store and was asked to give my order number as if they didn't even know I had already sent the alert that I had been there. It took another 10-15 minutes for an associate to bring out my items. She straight up seemed to be in a bad mood asking me where I wanted her to put my items when I had already lifted the trunk for the items. Finally, after she acted like she couldn't figure it out I just got out to put the items in myself.
The associate left without telling me where my receipt was or anything. I noticed as I was about to put the items in my own car that the storage bin with the yellow top was broken! There was a big hole at the bottom and it was literally detaching from the sides. Who would bring a customer a broken item brand new?
So I had to walk into the store anyway to get a replacement item that literally was stacked high right in the front of the store. Which literally tells me that she didn't even try to get me a good item. I was able to replace the item and once I got home I noticed that the two ice coolers were caked with dust!!
Just totally unacceptable stuff when you are buying things brand new. I just really thought it was important for you all to know especially since we are all being encouraged to limit social interactions this clearly does not cut it if I still have to have social contact when I was told I could do curbside.

Apathetic management response
The morning of Sunday, 7Feb21, my wife and I purchased a dishwasher with installation, 2 propane tank to grill adapter hoses, and a vinyl outlet cover (totaling over $1045) from the nearest (Saddlerock) Home Depot, 6000 S. Gun Club Rd., Aurora, CO 80016.
While entering the store, both my wife and I noticed the trash can near the main entrance overly stuffed with garbage and rubbish falling onto the walkway and blowing around the sliding doors.
Upon paying for our purchase, we exited through another set of front sliding doors and noticed a similarly disgusting trash issue.
As as military officer and a business owner, I called the store at 720-870-**** yo voice my concerns, and was transferred to the manager, Tony.
Rather than saying that hed promptly address the issue or even thanking me for bringing it to managements attention, Tony made excuses that the stores contracted cleaners hadnt arrived yet and would get to it later.
I pointed out to him that my wife and I previously had owned hot dog/brat carts and had contracted with both the Greeley and the Arapahoe/Boston Home Depot stores in 2009-**** and the same type of trash problems were prevalent near main entrances, in the vicinity of food sales from our carts.
It seems to me that Home Depot management has a cultural problem!
I will take my business to Lowes (or anybody besides Home Depot) for my construction needs from now on. Your apathy is driving business away.

Verified Reviewer#rd Party Delivery
Ordered my dryer in Nov, scheduled delivery was for 1/6/21 as it would not be in stock earlier. I wanted a plain, mechanical controlled dryer, not anything fancy.
My husband and I both took off from work to be home. They either went to the wrong home or did not bother to come to the door and ring doorbell to let us know they were here. I did see a truck pull in front of my neighbour's house across the street and went out to check. It was not there for even 30 seconds before it drove away!
NO attempt to contact us! I have a security cam, and it shows NO ONE CAME TO OUR DOOR! The delivery window was until 6 pm, but when I called at 4:15, the drivers had already GONE HOME! We were their last stop, and they OBVIOUSLY wanted to go home EARLY!!!
Called to complain, all they can do is reschedule, not a help as I had my current one sold and the person coming to pick it up today. Called Home Depot too, let them know what had happened. I was considering hiring HD for several large renovations we are going to have done, but won't consider it now. If they can't even hire delivery people with enough common sense to get out of the truck and go to the door, I can only imagine what *** they would send to do renovations!
Their loss?
Probably 40 to 50K. Will hire someone local!
