"Special" online price Item ordered on 12/18, still not received as of 1/19/21

After receiving a "Daily Special" email from HD, I ordered the DuoClean Powered Lift-Away Speed Vacuum on 12/18/2020. The date of delivery was changed a couple of times (initially, the product was scheduled to arrive 12/28, then 12/31), but delivery should have been received by now, according to HD representative Charles, who I spoke with on 1/6/2021. (In addition to Charles, I spoke with CS representatives: Britney, Michelle, and Tiffany. Apparently, the only thing anyone could do was blow smoke as NO ACTION to resolve the issue was taken.) Charles said We have no way of contacting the warehouse, but received a message that they are backed up, so you will receive your item within 10-working days from the date you should have received it. Ok, that would be Friday, January 15; however, the item remains outstanding. A couple of CSRs wanted me to cancel and re-order. What? How can I or YOU be sure the same thing won't happen again? Why can't you just verify, which you can, that the item was paid for and just send it to me? The fact that no CSR can is a bit suspicious to me. This sounds like a scam. Years ago, the Insurance Industry avoided paying large amounts to other companies because they could make a lot of money investing large sums of money on a daily basis. Is this what's happening? Products being purchased, but not delivered and those sales eventually being cancelled and original funds being returned. I should think this type of activity would be illegal, right up there with Bate and Switch. Is this why I need to cancel the original order and re-order? If so, think of how much money ANY large corporation could make on unsuspecting consumers by just NOT filling orders. Plus, this morning, when I asked the HD CSR (Jessica @ 770-433-****) to give me the address and contact person at HD Corporate Office so that I could write a letter to pose the question I've been asking various CSR's, but no one seems able to answer why I have to cancel and re-purchase an item, that was never sent, before it can be sent. The address and contact given was Frances Blake, Chairman and CEO, Home Depot Corporate Office, 2455 Paces Ferry RD NW (not SE, as reflected online) Atlanta GA 30339. In addition, the "contact phone number was given as (770) 433-****, which is the same number I called to reach her. What's going on here? After I was unsuccessful when trying to contact Frances Blake, since I got VM (surprise) and left a message, I called again and talked with CSR, Taneil who, apparently, believes consumers need to do the CSR job. Taneil advised, since the carrier OnTrac (800) 334-**** did not receive the item, I need to contact the vendor, "Perris" (514) 228-****. WOW! I asked her why HDs CSRs haven't contacted the vendor. No response. I called the vendor number and received the VM of a woman speaking French. Yikes! Evidently, its time to stop shopping at Home Depot.

Flooring

I paid for 35 boxes of guaranteed IN STOCK laminate flooring to be picked up by my contractor re contract for 03 /01/22/. My bedroom floor was ripped out and ready for installation. The installers arrived that morning to pick up the laminate. Home Depot had only 3 boxes for them. Home Depot told them that is all they have in stock and that we should to go to their other stores and purchase the missing boxes. This would take all day or longer. In the meantime I am stuck paying these people by the hour for their time. Five hours later my installers and I wound up at Lowes purchasing a different product which now had to be rescheduled for installation.This wound up causing everyone involved a lot of aggravation time and extra unnecessary costs to me. I am very upset with Home Depot

Payed them to put fence in and it blew over

Bought a fence from home depot 3 yrs ago. Home depot payed ais installation to put fence up. It blew over yesterday. Ais fail to concrete the fence in the ground. Now it's all falling apart and we payed 5k for it. Now waiting for home depot to contact us. I will let u know the outcome.

No answer No resolution for over a month Terrible situation Never picked up $700 shower doors for return for elder senior Worst follow up ever! Ended up having to pay someone to return them. Will never return to HD again.

Home Depot left me high and dry

Had new flooring put in the bathrooms and the guest bathroom wasn't sealed right and finally they sent a plumber out of three that finally pulled out the bowl and said the water was all under the flooring! This was my first time using curbside pickup at Home Depot. I am familiar with how this process is supposed to work though.

First, the parking spaces for curbside pickup were blocked with cones when I arrived after 10AM. So I had to get out of the car and physically remove the cone from the parking space in order to park in Curbside Pickup. Nothing there that stated the parking spaces were closed. I used the confirmation email to log in and let the store know I was at the store.

No one came out for the next 15 20 minutes, so I called the store and was asked to give my order number as if they didn't even know I had already sent the alert that I had been there. It took another 10-15 minutes for an associate to bring out my items. She straight up seemed to be in a bad mood asking me where I wanted her to put my items when I had already lifted the trunk for the items. Finally, after she acted like she couldn't figure it out I just got out to put the items in myself.

The associate left without telling me where my receipt was or anything. I noticed as I was about to put the items in my own car that the storage bin with the yellow top was broken! There was a big hole at the bottom and it was literally detaching from the sides. Who would bring a customer a broken item brand new?

So I had to walk into the store anyway to get a replacement item that literally was stacked high right in the front of the store. Which literally tells me that she didn't even try to get me a good item. I was able to replace the item and once I got home I noticed that the two ice coolers were caked with dust!!

Just totally unacceptable stuff when you are buying things brand new. I just really thought it was important for you all to know especially since we are all being encouraged to limit social interactions this clearly does not cut it if I still have to have social contact when I was told I could do curbside.

The morning of Sunday, 7Feb21, my wife and I purchased a dishwasher with installation, 2 propane tank to grill adapter hoses, and a vinyl outlet cover (totaling over $1045) from the nearest (Saddlerock) Home Depot, 6000 S. Gun Club Rd., Aurora, CO 80016.

While entering the store, both my wife and I noticed the trash can near the main entrance overly stuffed with garbage and rubbish falling onto the walkway and blowing around the sliding doors.

Upon paying for our purchase, we exited through another set of front sliding doors and noticed a similarly disgusting trash issue.

As as military officer and a business owner, I called the store at 720-870-**** yo voice my concerns, and was transferred to the manager, Tony.

Rather than saying that hed promptly address the issue or even thanking me for bringing it to managements attention, Tony made excuses that the stores contracted cleaners hadnt arrived yet and would get to it later.

I pointed out to him that my wife and I previously had owned hot dog/brat carts and had contracted with both the Greeley and the Arapahoe/Boston Home Depot stores in 2009-**** and the same type of trash problems were prevalent near main entrances, in the vicinity of food sales from our carts.

It seems to me that Home Depot management has a cultural problem!

I will take my business to Lowes (or anybody besides Home Depot) for my construction needs from now on. Your apathy is driving business away.

Ordered my dryer in Nov, scheduled delivery was for 1/6/21 as it would not be in stock earlier. I wanted a plain, mechanical controlled dryer, not anything fancy.

My husband and I both took off from work to be home. They either went to the wrong home or did not bother to come to the door and ring doorbell to let us know they were here. I did see a truck pull in front of my neighbour's house across the street and went out to check. It was not there for even 30 seconds before it drove away!

NO attempt to contact us! I have a security cam, and it shows NO ONE CAME TO OUR DOOR! The delivery window was until 6 pm, but when I called at 4:15, the drivers had already GONE HOME! We were their last stop, and they OBVIOUSLY wanted to go home EARLY!!!

Called to complain, all they can do is reschedule, not a help as I had my current one sold and the person coming to pick it up today. Called Home Depot too, let them know what had happened. I was considering hiring HD for several large renovations we are going to have done, but won't consider it now. If they can't even hire delivery people with enough common sense to get out of the truck and go to the door, I can only imagine what *** they would send to do renovations!

Their loss?

Probably 40 to 50K. Will hire someone local!

I ordered a trash can online. I have called back 2 times 2 change the color 2 black as soon as I ordered it. I keep getting placed on hold for about 10 min and then I get sent 2 an thing where it says they took my call and how was the service. Then I hang up and try again. I also left an email. So the services r not good. Look like I will not be getting my black trash can.

Delivery of order

Placed order WG3244**** and paid $1,160.70. Got phone call on 5 April saying delivery will be 6 April 2021. Waited at home all day. At 5:30pm I contacted shipping people and they said it is still out for delivery and the deliver up to 9:00pm. It is now 2:18pm on 7 April and NO delivery. Tried to Contacte delivery company and they dont answer. Contacted Home Depot and they said their is nothing they can do. No way to run a business. I will never deal with Home Depot again. They get your money then the heck with you.

I had the same experience in October 2019. I was out looking at appliances and told the sales person who was helping me at Home Depot that I had one more stop to make at menards.. I explained that they had 11% off and he told me not to waste the trip because they would match it. I placed my $3800.00 order was sent an email saying "this is the receipt you will use with the rebate" along with a copy of my receipt. I didn't receive a reply about the receipt after several months and called to be told that my purchase wasn't eligible for the rebate. I forwarded my email and was told that "Their" Salesperson was wrong and I was out of luck! I haven't shopped there since and don't intend to!!!
