No response from home depot customer service

We went to our local home depot after calling to make sure they had filled LP gas tanks in stock to buy and return empty tank. The person I talked to in garden said yes we do, come to garden and we will get it for you.

We went to the Selden NY location 4/12/2021 and had no problem paying for the refill. The problem arose when we stood in the rain waiting for somebody to come exchange the tank. 5 minutes turned into ten then fifteen with no employee coming out to help. I even went back to the cashier who callled twice to have somebody come unlock LP box so we could get a refill.

Finally i went inside for a refund and to talk with the MOD. Getting the refund took two minutes. Waiting for the manager to come up to customer service from the back office was a different story. Chris the manager basically said nothing that helped.

I called as soon as we got home to home depots customer service number and filed a complaint. I was told we would be getting a call within 48 hours maximum.

Nobody called because home depot could careless about its customers. Thanks home depot for making it extra easy to shop at Lowes from now on.

Home Depot - 2 months without a dryer still under warranty

Hi, we purchased a matching, Electrolux washer/dryer set from the Home Depot back in August 2019. We also purchased the matching pedestals for the set.

We spent about $2800 for the washer, dryer and two pedestals. On May 27, 2020, our dryer stopped working. The dryer is covered under the one year manufacturerwarranty by Electrolux and we were informed by Home Depot that we needed to contact Electrolux for the warranty issues. Home Depot would not do anything to help.

We had a technician come to the house on June 2 to diagnose the problem and he stated it was a bad motherboard. He had to order the parts and said it would be about another week before he could install it. He came back out to the house on June 8 to install the motherboard. He put the dryer back together,but it did not work.

He took the dryer apart and learned that he forgot to plug something in internally. He put it back together, it still didnt work. He took it apart again said it was a bad thermal fuse. He had to leave for about an hour; when he returned and installed the new thermal fuse, the dryer still did not work.

The technician tested the thermal fuse he took out of the dryer and stated the old fuse was actually fine. The technician then called another technician or Technical Support to figure out what was wrong. He came back took the dryer apart, tested the motor and determined the motor was bad. He stated this was his fault for not figuring it out on his initial call because he tested the wrong leads.

He again had to order the part and it would be about another week before he could install it. A different technician came out to the house, installed the motor, put the dryer back together and it still did not work.

The assistant store manager (Kate) from Parker Home Depot told my wife that after the third attempt to fix the dryer, and the fix did not work, Home Depot would replace the dryer. Immediately following the service technician putting our dryer back together, he did no further testing on the unit and left. I immediately contacted the Manager at the Parker Home Depot and advised them of this information.

The Manager said they would not replace the dryer and said it was an issue we would have to take up with Electrolux. Kate had also told my wife that we could get a loaner dryer from Home Depot, but we would have to pick it up, install and return it. I then spoke with a different manager on-duty (Frank) who stated we could get a loaner dryer, Home Depot would deliver it, but would not bring it into the house. I then spoke with another manager on-duty (Jeremy) who stated Home Depot would not deliver AND they would not provide a loaner dryer.

I then requested to speak with the Store Manager. I received a call from Kyle. I explained my frustration with being told different things by different managers. Kyle said he would address this issue, but was not able to help us.

My wife then called Kyle requesting to speak with his boss, the District Manager. Kyle refused to provide any information for the District Manager, would not provide his (Kyles) last name and hung up the phone on my wife. I was able to file a complaint on the store and Kyle after a lengthy process. I was informed the complaint was forwarded to Neri Williams (Case #1933****).

I have not received any correspondence from Neri.

I contacted the corporate supervisor for Electrolux Customer Service, April Edwards, and left a voicemail advising her of the third failed attempt to fix the dryer. I provided my name and my phone number and requested a call back. For the next six days I called her every day leaving a total of nine messages for April. April did not call me back, and to date July 9, 2020, April has still not called me back.

I did leave one message for April on July 8, 2020 and two messages for April on July 9, 2020.

I requested dispute resolution through Home Depot customer care as I had purchased the set with my Home Depot credit card. I received a response from the credit company stating they would not be assisting me in anyway as the product is under warranty. There is no dispute as to the product Being under warranty, the dispute is being without our dryer for two months now.

So on July 8, 2020, a dryer was delivered to my house, however, it was a gas dryer with a large dent in the side and my dryer is electric. I do not have any gas hook ups.

I immediately called the assistant store manager (Kate) at the Parker Home Depot as she had requested that I do so when the dryer arrived. The ASM from the Parker Home Depot ended up calling and speaking with someone from Electrolux and she relayed to me that Electrolux did not have my dryer in stock so they sent a gas dryer as a replacement instead. The delivery of the incorrect dryer was 21 days after the last service call. It is unknown how long it will be until we get a replacement dryer.

The ASM at the Parker Home Depot stated Electrolux would send us a different dryer however it would not match the current dryer that we have and it is unknown if it would work with the pedestals that we bought for the matching set. The ASM for the Parker Home Depot stated she would be into work after noon on July 9, 2020 and give me a call with updated information. I called the Parker Home Depot five different times and was on hold anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes, was hung up on and finally was able to speak with an associate who advised me the ASM was unavailable and took my information. As of me writing this at 6:15 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2020 and I was without any answers, without any assistance from Home Depot, and without any assistance from Electrolux.

I do work night shift from 9 PM until 7 AM and I have probably spent 20+ hours on the phone, on hold, trying to research the various supervisors from Home Depot and Electrolux and finally having to be awakened for the technicians and the delivery driver.

Just one phone call with Electrolux, I spent over two hours on the phone waiting to speak with April Edwards supervisor. The majority of this time was spent ON HOLD, with the customer service representative checking in periodically to let me know she was still waiting for a response from a supervisor. (She stated Electrolux requires her to do so). Both my wife and I have professional careers where we need to have clean and pressed clothing.

Throughout this ordeal we have had to hang our clothes from cabinet doors, door handles, appliance handles, over the couch, on the backs of chairs, laid out on the countertop and tables etc.

The only option we have been presented with is:

Electrolux said they will buy back the dryer. We are then left with a washer and dryer that are not the matching set that we purchased ($2800.00) and we have a $250 pedestal that is of no use to us!

Being mistreated in the store by employees

I would like to talk to someone I talked to a manger in the store about my complaint and the manger told me he was sorry about the incident but as I was walking away he tells the guy that it was fine in what he did which sent a message to me that it was ok for him to ignore me I'm not happy with that

I have a problem with a product I purchased

My complaint is that I purchased a Troy Bilt Bronco lawn tractor from Home Depot and after a couple of using it I was very disappointed in its operations. I called Home Depot several times but they have the return policy of no longer that 30 days can you return the item. I think mine was around 45 days. A mower is something you dont use every day to be able to find out all the problems. I was trying to return the mower and buy another one that doesnt have all the many problems this has

What do you expect Home Depot to do with the tractor if they took it back? The manufacturer has a warranty that covers repair, not replacement.

The manufacturer will repair defects in the mower and won't take it back from Home Depot. If you feel this mower has more problems than usual you should be working with the manufacturer to see if they will replace it as they are responsible for the warranty, not the retail store.

We ordered two mattresses March 30 and were told they would be in April, about 3 weeks later. We didn't get updates, called 3 times, was reordered. Delivery date changed two more times, past the third delivery date now and no updates on anything. Website still has past delivery date on it. They have our $1900 and we have no product, no updates and no answer as to where our mattresses are.

I am a roofing contractor and Home Depot is pretty much my right hand, I went to this one store located at 601 New E ordnance rd in Glen Burnie.

>I have a very terrible experience one of my workers was getting 36 bundles of shingles he had to then in a palette nad I was right next to it we were looking for 2 bundles of caps of the same color so the was more on top but we werent sure it was the same color as the shingles so he claimed on top of the palette to see if the ones on top were the same so this one guy so works there came straight to us with a very nasty voice saying either you get off or you out my employee response was ooh Im sorry we just looking for caps he was still saying you need to go out right now I jumped and say excuse me sr why are you talking to us like that he say you too I got very angry nd I said wait firt at all you need to lower you voice nd he said yall are stealing Im like what we are what I laughed he said Im calling the police I said sr tell me what are we stilling he goes you cant claim on a palette I said we didnt know that but theres a lot ways to come over a person special it you are working on a place where your costumes are your priorities I said you need to work on your customer service skills hes like idc yall not a customer since now I said your are out your mind he got in my face telling me to leave the store I say please call your manager because its obviously you got issues hes like ok Im calling him .. he will still telling me to leave at these point he was all over my face and I had my 2 years old with me ..

he said I will just punch you in the face I got very angry and I say do it now like I wished you would he say I dont care if they fire me nd long story short when I was leaving he started flicking me off nd do a jeck sign below his parts i am very very disappointed like these is unbelievable he needs to get fired like now ..

Home Depot is like Sear they have proprietary products and colors. When you have to match color your stuck. Yes you can match the color but that’s not in the budget for both time and dollars.

Blind installation

Yes I am still experiencing a issue with home Depo located in Maryland, Oxonhill. I initiated a blind installation in April and its June 10th and still nothing. I have been going back and fourth with corporate and the store via phone several times this week. I pray that I get some resolution where I can have my blinds installed timely however I will not hold my breath. I had to contact the president of the company a Mr. Mener or something like that. Now the store is acting like they want to be helpful. Save your money shop somewhere else.

Just buy more trim. What’s the problem?

What kind of trim are you looking for? They carry casing in precut 7' lengths as that is the length needed for doors, one of the most common uses for this trim.

They also sell it in random lengths up to 16. Most of their other trim is sold in random lengths as uses will vary.

They said my card would be reimbursed.

I ordered a Ryobi Edger/Trimmer from HomeDepot.com. For some reason, it moved my order to the Harper Woods, MI store, where it was NOT in stock, instead of 2 other stores, in Roseville and Warren, where it was and still IS in stock. In addition, since they were coming to drop that off, I ordered 7 bags of dirt. Totals: RYOBI 40-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Attachment Capable String Trimmer with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger IncludedQty: 1$139.00 Scotts Premium 0.75 cu. ft. Top soilQty: 7 $1.57/item $10.99 Payment Details Subtotal $211.73 Scheduled Delivery $8.99 Sales Tax $13.24 Order Total $233.96 Their Delivery Charge was $8.99. The system verified everything was coming. I'd never have paid $8.99 for any delivery of dirt if I'd known they were out of the trimmer, but they didn't give me that option. So even tho this order was verified and the delivery guy was on his way to bring it, I received a Voicemail at 1:47PM on May 18 telling me the delivery guy didn't get or maybe they were out of the Trimmer. They did not ask if I wanted to cancel. They said delivery driver was "on his way". I have this Voicemail. 10 min. later, guy shows up with only 7 bags of dirt. NO Ryobi Edger. I have the security video from beginning to end of this delivery, you can see there isn't one in his truck, he never brings up a large, green edger. He sticks the full receipt in with the bags of dirt. I was in bed at this time. I'm disabled but I was also sick with Coronavirus, my SO went down, saw immediately edger was missing, guy in truck drove away while he was standing there. He, Chris, called the store after trimmer didn't show up, took 45 min. to get someone on phone, they said it would be refunded. Driver left receipt for the 7 bags of dirt and the trimmer, there was NO trimmer. Well I was charged. I have created a file of the entire 3 min. of this delivery: TRACKING NUMBER 98F2 - 087C - E30B - 4866 DRIVER Marcus G. (Green Pickup Truck) dropping off ONLY 7 bags of dirt and NO Ryobi Edger/Trimmer. Tho he left the entire receipt instead of marking that it wasn't there or they were out of it or he didn't deliver it. I have the full video if you need it. I also have the Voicemail left by the Harper Woods Home Depot saying I'd not be charged. We have called the store, they said it would be refunded. I used their email CSR, the response was: "Thank you for your email to Customer Care at The Home Depot. To answer your question more quickly, we ask that you please call 1-800-HOME-DEPOT (466-****) with your inquiry, as this inbox is not currently being actively monitored." We did not receive the Ryobi edger. We were charged for it and the tax. Total refund should be $147.34 I have disputed it thru PayPal, where I paid from. Home Depot has not answered them. I need an Edger, I can't afford one until I get my money back. Alternatively, Home Depot should have delivered this Ryobi Trimmer from a store that did have it in stock, there's 2 others nearby that have it. And given me the chance to cancel so I didn't have to pay an $8.99 delivery charge. My card should not have been charged in the first place. Here is the entire video of this delivery. I also have the voicemail from the store 10 min. prior stating I would not be charged for the missing edger.

Home depot site keeps rejecting my review
I attempted to write a review on the Home Depot site about a piece of furniture I bought from them. The review was mostly complementary, but Home Depot rejected it 3 times. The problem sentences were highlighted in RED each time. I still don't understand what the problem was. I revised those highlighted sentences. They finally accepted the review. HOWEVER, till this day, my review is still not visible on their site!!!

Appliance Delivery

I ordered new kitchen appliances and had refrigerator install only. I While taking the old fridge out they saw there was a copper pipe going to the ice maker. He said he is not allowed to touch copper and that I had to turn the water off and take the pipe loose. No one asked me if I had copper in my kitchen when I bought nor during verification of appt. They certainly never told me that I may be responsible for a part of the install. When I told him I would have to see if my if my neighbor could help me he said he didnt have time fir that!
