Refrigerator delivered damaged by Home Depot

I just read a complaint (different site) about the bathroom installation nightmare. I wish her luck, but from my experience complaints fall on deaf ears. I had a refrigerator delivered damaged 4 years ago and it still sits in my kitchen with the dents. This is an issue that could have been handled by Maytag since it was factory damage, but my complaint kept falling through the cracks until 30 days had passed and Maytag was no longer considered responsible. So, Home Depot said they would take care of it. Well after much wasted time I still have no satisfaction. This is the really condensed version of the story. To sum it up Home Dept employees were negligent and rude. The store manager contacted me after the whole "We hear you" campaign and all but accused me of trying to cheat them and appearing annoyed at the time she was having to spend on it.

she called me back once and left a message on my answering machine and then never again. Like it was my job to police her. Well I have done that and it doesnt work. Either they want to make it right or they don't, their actions say they don't. I have not set foot in Home Depot for years because of this. And just so they know. We have remodeled our home and own income properties, so we spend ALOT of $ at Lowe's. To Home Depot...Don't even think of responding unless you are willing to bend over backwards to make this right. Store Manager was worried it would cost her $. I guess the thousands of $ I have spent at Lowe's didn't cost her in her mind!

you are so stupid! i am a store manager at THD... i think it is so funny how every customer that complains owns tons of property and is our best customer and the biggest spender and we are missing out on sooo much of your $$$... haha yeah right
