I placed a special order for faux wood blinds. I stated under no circumstances could the valance stick out, it must be flush with the window. I went through many various options with two different sales representatives. I was led to believe the blinds I chose would be flush within the window. Upon installation this wasn't the case. Now, the two sales representatives I worked with are accusing me of lying, are making up lies about me, and are refusing to fix the problem. Even the installer said when he came out to put them up, that Home Depot had fired the measuring company for taking inaccurate measurements, and they hadn't measured my window correctly. Home Depot is not even taking this into consideration. I want new blinds, that I paid for, that fit my window flush.

Thats why I went there. As per Mike Holmes, check the people you have coming into your home to do work.
All I got was NOT INSTALLED RIGHT and NO GUARANTEE..
Had a installer come out to install a skylight blind, sounds easy right. This piece of garbage that he installed was short in width and height. I told him thats not acceptable. He Told Me Thats what you ordered, thats what you got.
I told him, You where the one that measured it, now make me a new one that fits. He told me that will be the day that he pays for a new blind.
Called Home deXXX. They told me to call the some company called 3d.
I called them, they never return my calls.
Now I have a blind that is garbage and some company that does not want to correct the issue.
I will never shop the Home Depot again. Will go to Lowe's for all my needs. They care what happens to the customer.
I guess that the Home Depot forgot who the customer is.
Remember, the customer always comes first. Pass this on
say away from the Home depot and this company called 3d?
And If Mike Holmes reads this, get as far away from the Home Depot before they bring you down.

I researched sites looking to see if people have problems before I buy anything. And here is a site that does just that. I know where not to buy custom made products from. Thank you for making my voice count, and I will not shop at the orange company for anything.

Had an installer from the home depot come to my house to install blinds and some shutter's. The Guy made a mess of my walls, punched holes all over the place call someone on his cell, looking for an answer on how to install my new blinds. At the end he told me that he couldn't install the blinds, because this was his first time see the blinds.. I told that *** installer to take the blinds back, so that I can get my money back from the Home depot. He laughed at me and said "thats not going to happen". Here I am 6 months later, no blinds and no money, they keep telling me that the cheque is in the mail. Please if you read this, do not buy blinds or shutters from the home depot. Keep your money and go somewhere else, where they have the right people to do the job.

We have had a similar problem with Home Depot. Some company call 3d that works for the home depot told us all kinds of stories about why are blinds were not on time. First they blamed the manufacturer, then the salesperson, then their office staff, then they said they gave it to the installer. All lies How Can The Home depot keep up with all the lies and more lies. They should call the company the 3 dummies!!

I told her that I bought my blinds from Home Depot. She told me that home depot doesn't sell blinds anymore, that they have a company that does it for them. And they don't pay their bills. Pass these message on, don't buy blinds at the home depot
had a decorator come to my house, didn't know anything about the products I wanted, told me that some installer would come out to remeasure, had know clue who that person was, gave me a price with installation included, but would not break the price down for me.What is the home depot hiding.Would not trust Home Depot for anything now. I shop a Sears now, pass on this message
I have no confidence in Home Depots blind, drapery, and shutter department. I when to the home depot for a quote on shutters, they told me they couldn't provide me with one, that someone had to come to my house?? All I needed was a price to see if it was in my budget, the person on the floor did know what she was doing.. I drove over to Lowe's where I received all the information I need.. so long Home Depot..
