I got my kitchen remodled by Home Depot. Once the cabinets were in I waited for the counter tops. They went in fine. But yet when that was done suddenly the stove and the refrigerator no longer fit in the spot they once did. The guy came back out, broke the molding on the floor, snapped my switch plate and tried to get the appliances back in. Needless to say it didnt work. My fridge sat in the middle of the floor. I purchased new appliances not from them. I was going to anyway but not at the time that I did. They offered nothing in return for their imcompetance. Prior to that I was looking at sheds and I asked the salesgirl how much it would be to install. Her reply was "well if you want us to install it youre sol. We dont do that." Needless to say I no longer shop there and any fliers they send go back to them in the mail with a nasty letter.

This was probably a result of a poor kitchen design or a bad install. Either way the Home Depot you dealt with should have expedited this and taken care of this until it was resolved and you had the kitchen you were promised. Sadly I have seen this type of thing happen many times over the years I have worked in these stores. Installers hire out their own people and they do not always have the best qualifications and kitchen designers do not always have the best training. They will blame each other.
