1. Written by Sold and Screwed by Home Depot on July 15, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US They sold me wood windows for my home last year. They have yet to complete the job. All they do is blame everyone else. No one is accoutable. The windows that they did installed are crooked and scratched. The windows that haven't been installed are no where to be found. They sold and screwed me but I will have the last laugh. I'm not paying these jokers.
2. Written by Home Depot AHS Sales Consultan on July 13, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US This is the 3rd aticle I found. Wow!!! the other one was under Home Depot cons and pissed off consumers. This place has alot of pissed off customers. Everything the other sales guys are saying about this place must be true. I'm new at this gig and my Sales manager keeps telling me not to listen to those guys but ***! This is alot of pissed off customers and employee's. Kind of funny.
3. Written by Angry customer on July 9, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US They didn't show up again for 3rd to install my windows. I took off work and they did it again. Atleast this time they called but gave me another excuse why they are not showing up again. Installer is sick. Installer didnt finish the job yesterday. Not all the windows were delivered. What next???
4. Written by Bill & Joan Johnson - Chicago on July 6, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US My windows were installed 4 months ago and Home Depot isn't finished yet. Although they had no problem having me sign a work order and bill my account. They said they opened up a service for the one remaining window. Three attempts to install the last window and again it was scratched.
5. Written by Home Depot customer no more on June 30, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US If HD employeed people to take care of their customers instead of soliciting customers for credit cards as they attempt to walk in the store maybe they attract more customers. Knuckle Heads. Do you want to sign up for a credit card today? "No but where can I find this light bulb?" Uhhh not sure, don't work in that department. Ha
6. Written by Ken on June 18, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US One more thing. It's true about the Home Depot RSW salesman selling installs inside the home with out a salesman pocket license. When I was still working in the LA branch about a year ago we had half of our sales force selling inside the home with out their California in home sales license. Senior management said as long as they sent in their application then they can sell. Unfortunately most of the sales guys were to lazy to go get finger printed at live scan and didn't want to pay for the fees. So it's true, 50% of the sales force didn't have their sales license and probably still don't. Maybe if Senior Management cared about their customers and employee's instead of their bonuses then maybe they would bonus and their stock wouldn't have lost over 50% of it's value.
7. Written by Ken on June 18, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US I used to work in the home Depot RSW Los Angels branch. The only thing the corporate big dogs from Atlanta cared about was the sales plan and sales staffing goals. They didn't care where we got these guys just as long as they had transportation and could speak english. We were sending wierdo's into the customers homes and telling them not to leave until you closed the job with a signature and a check. After the customers signed they would never hear from the sales guy again. They would be passed onto a project coordinator that knows nothing. Seriously, These so called project coordinators have never even been out to a jobsite let alone never seen a job installed before. If the salesman didn't generate enough appointments in front of the Home Depot store and have at least a 25% close ratio they were threatend and eventually dismissed. Home Depot only cares about the customers money and not the customer. They literally have just as many complaints as they do sales but only have 1% of the staff correcting the complaints. Just ask the branch manger how many service order/complaints they currently have and how long they have been ignored. They track it but it's not a top priority. Money Money Money. Better yet your money equals their bonuses. Your return is very bad service and very little if no communication at all.
8. Written by Michael Anderson, Dallas Texas on June 18, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US I couldn't believe my eyes when I read this website. My neighbor told me about the home Depot site so I had to check it out. So many complaints about their install/sales division, wow! They installed my windows and it was total disaster. Sales guy was new and pushy. Mismeasures, missed appts and they even said they needed more money because the sales guy misquoted. My wife demanded we cancel but I needed their financing plan to get the windows installed. BIG MISTAKE! They didn't show up on the day they scheduled to install. I called and they said someone was suppose to call me. ??? Windows didn't come in or came in wrong. That's the excuse I heard 3 different times in a 10 week period. When they installed the windows they installed two windows incorrectly and had to return. The employee's started to argue and actually cursed in my home. I'm still not satisfied with the caulking but I don't want them back in my home. No more Home Depot!
9. Written by Daniel from Long Island on June 17, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US I called the Home Depot store to complain about the service and workmanship I received for my window install. The store said they don't have anything to do with RSW Home Depot and that they are a seperate division. No one from this RSW comapny will return my calls and when I call them they say they will have someone call me back. I am done with Home Deot and will never shop there again. Very Unhappy Customer.
10. Written by Mr. Green on June 12, 2009 from santa clarita, california, US Home Depot roofing did a terrible job installing my roof. They took 10 weeks to start my job and then took 3 weeks to complete a 3-5 day job. No one returned my calls before or during the roof job. They left the gate opened and my dog ran out. A neighbor found my dog a day later. The roofers were rude spoke very little english and did a terrible clean up job. The Seattle branch manger, Jack wouldn't return my calls and when I finally got a hold of him he laughed/smerked when I told him about my dog and the trash. He said he would call me back but never did. My roof over the living room leaks and they keep saying the roofer has been out to fix it but I have never seen him and it still leaks. I should have gone to Lowes or somewhere else.
