I would rate the Home Depot online customer service a rating of 1. I purchased two appliances online, a refrigerator and a dishwasher, and the day they were delivered, they went on sale. Sale prices are supposed to be good for 30 days. Because I am a mute, I had to write 8 emails, and other than "we received your request" and to resolve this quickly call our customer service, I never heard back. Had water leaking from bad shutoff and faucet hose running leak. Gave me wrong and refused to exchange or return or credit me back! This was a thousands of dollars damage. Trying to prevent!! Add comment

Hello First thing I would like to mention is that Enamel is NOT an ingredient in paint, it is the hardness (durability) of the finish you chose. You maybe thinking to back in the day when oil paint was still in popular use, and latex had not developed into what it is today. Now with technology latex has the strength to be an enamel. VERY PISSED!!!!!! I waited with anticipation for this day to come, all excited that the carpet was going to be installed today. I Asked if they would put cork tile down first and they said no problem in the initial measurement that cost me thirty dollars. Come installation day they came in to inspect the area where the carpet was going and said they can not lay down the cork because it would ruin the warranty. BUYER BEWARE!!! I had my roof replaced by Home Depot. They did an excellent job on the roof, and they were neat and friendly. My BIG problem is with the paperless method of doing business. I received my "reciept" through email, which I have no problem with. But the I missed a VERY important part of that email, which is that somehow the color of the roof was changed! I bought a hideous fridge from home depot. I called Home Depot customer service who said sure they would take it back just arrange it with my local store. I called Home Depot, Watertown, MA and spoke with its manager Ian he says he has the right to refuse any return and he refuses all appliance returns - NO EXCEPTIONS. I am stuck with a hideous $1,700 Fridge. I used a contractor for this kitchen remodel and he took care of purchasing all appliances. Home Depot sucks !!!! I called the local store before going, to verify that would get the discount. After waiting 1/2 hour for some one to get my grill down I was refused the discount because it was a Weber grill. I then asked if the discount would work on a Kitchen Aid grill, the y said yes, but again at the register iut was refused, no explanation !! John Deer items, no discount, anything on sale no discount !, Weber, no discount, Kitchen Aid, no discount,and who knows what else....GO TO LOWES, THEY GIVE THE 10% ON EVERYTHING EVEN SALE... Could not return items left over from my house renovation. I spent over $60,000 in this Home Depot. When I had items left over I wanted to return them. i will NOT keep 100 receipts or more and dig through them so i just took the left over items for a return. They denied my return as TRE reported a suspicious return. Read all about the TRE as many people have been denied as I was. Worst refrigerator ever.. 2 weeks after purchase - Home Depot said they cannot help - contact GE.. Home Depot said they have a time limit of 2 days. After 4 service trips from GE - Home Depot said they would try to help (store mgr. - Avon) & they never got back to me. It took 6 service calls, 5 part replacements & almost 6 months of my persistence to finally get the problems fixed. I would really reconsider a reface job from Home Depot you will be Paying minumum $325.00 a foot for cheap thermo plastic and $414.00 a foot for wood. There countertops ar $129.00 a square foot for granite and quartz and the back spalsh is $69.00 a square foot! If you spend this kind of money you are using there sub contractors to do all of the work. They will overcharge you and you are paying the employee a 10% commission for his or her work.
